take in only 20% of the worlds oceans have been mapped.

that’s right, the largest, deepest part of our world hasn’t even had half of it documented properly yet. this is the largest resource on our planet and still it’s said that only 5-10% of creatures inhabiting our waters are known. it’s incredible really, that something responsible for 50% of our oxygen, 20% of our protein supply, and 70% of the earths surface has been understood to a meager extent not even reaching half of it’s existence.

could you imagine if only 20% of food had ever been tasted, or only 5-10% of incredible artists had been discovered. but more importantly, all those things we naively think we understand, we don’t.

the ocean has been on earth since the dawn of time and we still don’t understand it’s grand capacity, so how could one who’s lived not even 100 years know what on earth love is?
